Let’s Get Started

Schedule An Appointment

If you are ready to take the next step in making a change in your health, you can schedule your first appointment online by clicking here or the “Book Now” button below.

If you have questions about Acupuncture therapy that you would like to discuss prior to your first treatment you can schedule a “Complimentary Phone Consultation”.

New Patients

If you are new to our practice and have not been seen as a patient in our office please select “New Patient Acupuncture Treatment” as the service type. If you have any laboratory test results or diagnostic imaging/reports that pertain to the condition that you are seeking acupuncture care for, please be sure to bring a copy of your records to your initial appointment.

If possible, wear loose fitting clothes that you are comfortable to lie down in for 20 – 35 minutes. Most of the points that are used during your session will be from the elbows down to the hands and the knees down to the feet. In some instances points on the abdomen, back, head, neck and ears may be used as well. Rest assured, you will always be appropriately draped with a sheet or gown during your treatment. Try to eat something small before your visit.

Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions. Educating our patients about Acupuncture Care is a big part of what sets the Twin Cities Acupuncture apart from other clinics. We want to make sure that you understand what is being done to help improve your health.

Established Patients

Established patient appointments will include a reassessment of your health concern, health history intake and acupuncture treatment. Please select “Follow-up Acupuncture Treatment” as the service type when scheduling online.

If you are an established patient but you have not been seen in our office for more than a year and a half (18 months) please select “New Patient Acupuncture Treatment” as the service type.

Once your appointment has been scheduled you will receive and email that contains a link for our intake paperwork and health history forms. We ask that you complete those forms prior to your appointment so we have your most up to date health information.

Payments and Insurance

Payment (including co-pays) are due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, checks and credit cards as forms of payment. We also accept HSA cards. You can also use your FSA or VEBA account.

If you have in-network benefits with HealthPartners Insurance we will bill your insurance directly. If you have an Insurance provider other than HealthPartners we encourage you to contact them to see if you have any “out-of-network” acupuncture coverage. If you need itemized receipt, CMS-1500 form or documentation to submit to your insurance company, we will provide them for you upon your request.

Cancellation Policy

At least a 24-hour notice of cancellation is required if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.  Because we do not double-book appointments, when you break your appointment, we are not able to fill the empty spot unless, at least a 24 hour notice is given. As time and space is limited someone else may not be able to be seen by us. We value your time, so please value ours as well. We appreciate your understanding.
